Most agents spend too much time planning and not enough time doing. Here’s what I mean.

It’s fall and we’re already planning for 2020. If you aren’t, you need to start drawing out your business plan for next year right now.

However, today I want to talk about a new agent of mine. She’s only been licensed for four months, but she made nearly $11,000 last week alone and she’s on pace to make six figures in her first year. If you’re not making that kind of money, why aren’t you?

“I learned early on in my career how important a sense of urgency was.”

What is she doing differently? She implements very quickly and has a sense of urgency to take action. These are important things to do not only in real estate, but also in life generally. How many hours do we spend working on our scripts or websites, or making plans? My advice is to just get out and do it. Go make a phone call. Go knock on doors. Just do it.

It really is that simple. I learned early on in my career how important a sense of urgency was. I spent three hours today just to go look at a property because one of my agents tipped me off that it was a home run. Those three hours are valuable, but if that property makes money for me in the future, three hours is a modest investment.

You have to take action in this business and take action quickly. If you want to take your career to the next level by taking action, give me a call or send me an email today. I currently have two spots open for driven, goal-oriented agents who want to be successful in this business.

If you have any other questions for me in the meantime, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
